Description: The barge has provided outstanding service in marine accommodation since its refurbishment in 2004. Recently surveyed in 2018. It provides comfortable rooms and caters for the essential needs of over 200 individuals in its current configuration. Good standard of fit out ensures excellent hygiene and safety standards can be maintained.
The current configuration has 69 rooms that have previously accommodated up to 230 persons on projects for which all of the on board systems coped with. But would suit conversion to other uses such as Hotel or office accommodation.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped with wash basin and ample plug sockets provided for the rooms on the two upper decks. Communal WC’s and showers are located throughout the vessel. A fully equipped commercial alley is located on the second floor, serving two mess rooms and lounges. Further TV and recreation facilities can be found at a small bar on the same floor, or in the mess/lounge room on the third floor.
At deck level the barge houses a large meeting room and cinema capable of seating 70-80 people. Also at deck level a number of large store rooms are located along with the on board laundry.
On board equipment consists on and emergency standby generator and full sewage treatment system.
Fresh water and electrical hook up are from the shore.
Some certification may have lapsed as the barge is currently laid up bur was formerly full certificated to comply with its use. These certificates include:
